The Greenville Police Department says a man accused of impersonating an officer is now under arrest. Investigators say, Jose Bello conducted traffic stops within the city limits back on January 21st.
Officers later confirmed he was not a law enforcement officer. Detectives executed a search warrant at a home on Caledon Court, where they found multiple weapons, ammunition, badges, and other law enforcement-style gear. Police say Bello’s vehicle was also equipped with blue lights.
