ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Western New York Comprehensive Care Center for Eating Disorders teamed up with the University of Rochester School of Nursing to raise awareness about eating disorders and offer support to people who have one.
National Eating Disorders Awareness Week runs February 23 through March 1 every year. The outreach event was held at the Rochester Educational Opportunity Center in downtown Rochester. The goal of the event was to educate the public about the realities of eating disorders and to provide visibility and hope to people and families affected by eating disorders.
