Ballston Spa mayor says he’s staying in office after all

BALLSTON SPA — After taking a brief leave, Mayor Frank Rossi announced that he “feels a lot better,” and it “is time to get back to work.”

Speaking via a video posted to Facebook on Thursday night, the Republican mayor said his blood pressure is better and his sleep has improved. But he continues to have concerns — mainly two lawsuits in which the village is named.

“I have focused a lot of thought and reflection on recent events while I was in Florida and even since I’ve been back here in the village,” Rossi said. “During that thought and reflection, the village was served with a second lawsuit this time from Keith Lewis and Liz Kormos (that is) a rebuke of an ethics board decision that they didn’t agree with concerning JH Properties.”…
