Weather alert issued for snow in Saratoga and Rensselaer counties Sunday morning

The National Weather Service issued a report at 7:41 a.m. on Sunday for snow until 9:15 a.m. for Saratoga and Rensselaer counties.

“A period of light to moderate snow will continue through 9 a.m. this morning across eastern portions Saratoga and western Rensselaer counties. Snowfall amounts of a coating up to 1 inch will be possible during this time, with the greatest amounts expected mainly east of the Adirondack Northway in Saratoga County, and across western Rensselaer County. Motorists traveling through these areas can expect locally slippery travel conditions and reduced visibilities through 9 a.m. this morning,” says the weather service.
