A Salem County man has been charged in connection with a pepper spray assault at a Newark, Delaware convenience store, Delaware State Police said Friday.
Troopers arrested Aldo Funari II, 52, of Carneys Point Township, New Jersey, following an incident at a Wawa Thursday afternoon.
Police said troopers responded at about 12:30 p.m. to a report of an assault. A preliminary investigation found that two drivers became involved in an argument after one accused the other of crashing into his vehicle.
