TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee man was sentence to 30 years in prison on gun and drug charges related to a deadly shooting, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Triston Johnson previously pleaded guilty to several federal drug and gun offenses. At sentencing, Johnson was found responsible for a second-degree murder in Tallahassee.
Court documents show Johnson’s charges stem from two incidents. In October 2023, records show Johnson ran from a Florida A&M University police officer and hid a bad near a car. A FAMU employee reported finding the bag which contained marijuana, mushrooms, a digital scale and credit cards belonging to Johnson. A firearm was also found with the bag, records show…
