WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The Wilmington Symphony Orchestra will perform alongside Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Tift Merritt at Cape Fear Community College’s Wilson Center.
Music Director Peter Askim will lead the orchestra in a program that combines classical repertoire with contemporary songwriting.
The program draws inspiration from kintsugi, the Japanese practice of repairing broken pottery with gold, according to organizers.
