BELLEVILLE, Ill. — A boy was killed Friday night in Belleville in a shooting that police believe was accidental.
According to the Belleville Police Department, officers responded just before 8 p.m. Friday to a shooting at a home in the 2700 block of Brookmeadow Drive, located off Mascoutah Avenue. When they arrived, they found a juvenile who had been shot inside a garage.
