WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A 21-year-old man was indicted in connection with stabbing a D.C. corrections officer and threatening another in August, according to the United States Attorney’s Office (USAO) for the District of Columbia.
Ovid Gabriel, of D.C., was charged with assault with intent to kill while armed, assault on a police officer while armed, unlawful introduction of contraband into a penal institution, aggravated assault while armed, assault with a dangerous weapon, assault with significant bodily injury while armed, and felony threats.
