SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — After the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) committed to spending a record amount of money on maintenance and repairs, the Salt Lake City VA has begun infrastructure upgrades.
In January, VA announced that it will spend $4.8 dollars in fiscal year 2026 to modernize, repair, and improve health care facilities as part of their non-recurring maintenance program, the largest single-year investment as part of that program in the history of the VA.
