Masala Magic, a full-service Indian restaurant in the works for Aurora, is preparing to move into the Serenity Ridge shopping center off East Smoky Hill Road. The concept has been on the books since a mid-2025 lease, with fresh permitting activity in recent weeks; it looks like the space is being set up for sit-down dining. The owners still have not shared an opening date.
Lease and the space
According to BusinessDen, Masala Magic Inc. signed a lease for roughly 1,350 square feet at Serenity Ridge, with broker John Livaditis representing the landlord. That square footage suggests a compact dining room and kitchen aimed at full-service meals rather than a simple takeout counter.
Who’s behind the concept
What Now Denver notes that a recent business-permit filing lists Masala Magic at the site. Public corporate records name Gurinder Singh Gill as the owner and list Masala Magic Inc. with a legal address at 25791 E Smoky Hill Rd, Unit 40, with Gill registered as the agent, per b2bhint.
Where it will sit
The restaurant is slated for the King Soopers-anchored Serenity Ridge center just south of the Southlands retail complex, a stretch prized for its visibility from Smoky Hill Road. Crexi listings and related leasing materials outline a tenant mix that includes both national chains and independents. Nearby, Wild Pepper Pizza already lists a Smoky Hill storefront in Aurora.
What Now Denver reports that it reached out to Gill for comment but did not receive a response, and Masala Magic has yet to post a menu or opening timeline. Taken together, the 2025 lease and the recent permit activity indicate the owner is working through buildout and other prep behind the scenes ahead of a public debut (an inference based on filings and leasing records)…
