Evictions in Oregon hit a new high to start 2026.
In January, 2,750 Oregon tenants faced eviction case filings. This is the highest single month on record since Portland State University’s Evicted in Oregon project began tracking the figure and represents a near-doubling of pre-pandemic numbers. Of these eviction filings, 242 were in Lane County.
