Augusta, Ga. – Caleb Jatko pitched six strong innings and Mattheson Go collected three hits and four RBI as Augusta knocked off Georgia Southwestern 7-3 Saturday at Jaguar Field. With the win, the Jags improve to 7-1 in the Peach Belt Conference and 11-7 overall. The Hurricanes are 6-2 in conference play and 11-7 overall.

Nolan Turner, who had two hits and two RBI, drove in the first run of the game with a RBI single plating Nathan Martin. After a couple of hit batsmen, Roland Chance would walk with the bases loaded to plate the second run of the game. Go would follow that up with a two-run single and it was quickly 4-0 Augusta.
Jatko would give up a solo home run in the third inning and then a two-run shot in the sixth, but that would be it. He collects his third win of the year…
