BROOK PARK, Ohio – A Middlebrook Boulevard resident was defrauded of $50,000 through a computer scam.
The fraud was reported at about 11:30 a.m. Feb. 16. The resident was notified on her computer to contact Microsoft. The notification gave her two possible numbers to call.
The resident called one of the numbers. A man answered and asked the resident to wire transfer $25,000 to him. She was uncertain why…
