RICHMOND COUNTY — A Concord man was arrested in Richmond County for allegedly stealing from the Dollar General in Hamlet, located at the intersection of N.C. 177 and Spring Street, on Feb. 14.
According to records, the suspect, identified as Stephon De Jan Butler, 25, told the clerk that he had “people outside that will come in and shoot up the place.”
Butler was charged Feb. 19 with one felony count of robbery with a dangerous weapon and was arrested Feb. 23 by the Hamlet Police Department. According to the warrant, Butler is being held without bond at the Richmond County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court March 5…
