INDIANAPOLIS — One person was injured in a residence fire on the north side of Indianapolis on Sunday.
Public police reporting systems indicate that firefighters were called to the 7800 block of Marquis Lane — which is located just off of West 79th Street near Harcourt Road — around 3:25 p.m. assist with a fire that had left at least one person trapped inside a residence.
FOX59/CBS4 sent a crew to the scene. Pike Township fire personnel there told FOX59/CBS4 that one person sustained slight injuries during the fire.
The Pike Township Fire Department also reported that the fire left four people displaced. The exact number of people who were trapped inside the burning residence when fire crews arrived is currently unknown…
