The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s help locating a 69-year-old man missing in San Lorenzo.
Merced Vargas is 5 feet 9 and weighs 170 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen around 10 a.m. Friday near Meekland Avenue and Paseo Grande wearing a black hat, light-colored coat, blue jeans and blue and white shoes. He is believed to be on foot.
