We had a record number of both registrants and finishers this year, with almost 300 runners registering and more than 200 finishing the three events. Thus it was a huge crowd of trailsters who toed the start lines at Big Ridge State Park near Maynardville TN. Under the guidance of veteran Race Director Bobby Glenn, a small but dedicated troop of TTTers and other volunteers helped the chilly afternoon unfold into an marvelous festival of distance trail running. Congratulations to everyone who was involved in another fantastic TTT trail race!!!
In the 11-Mile main event, Tennessee Running Club member Dylan Leone cruised to victory, crossing the line in 1:23:53, more than eight minutes ahead of perennial podium dweller Cooper Bostrom, who was timed in 1:32:03. Masters champ Marc Runyan ran a strong 1:35:26 to claim third overall. Eleanor McDonough claimed both the women’s overall and Masters Female title, speeding to victory in 1:47:29.
