LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A gun store set to come to the Highlands has many in the neighborhood on edge. For the last seven weeks, every Saturday morning, a group of protestors has been setting up along Bardstown Road outside where the store is supposed to be.
The shop called Madden Firearms is set to open at the Bardstown Center, located at 2525 Bardstown Rd., Suite 104.
The band of neighbors, including Tim Darst are hopeful they can change the owner’s mind about coming to the area…
