The crash happened on the 4000 block of Frankford Avenue in the city’s 15th District at approximately 4:13 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, according to Philadelphia police.
A 2016 silver Ford F-250 tow truck was traveling southbound on Frankford Avenue while towing a 2005 silver Dodge Magnum when the towed vehicle became detached, police said. The Dodge entered the northbound lanes and struck a motorcycle operated by Jason Harvey, 39, of Southampton.
