ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Leaders across faiths gathered for an evening of unity and understanding on Saturday.
The “Voices of Peace” Interfaith Iftar dinner invited members of the community to the Baitun Naseer Mosque on East Main Street. Iftar is a period after sunset when those observing the Islamic holy month of Ramadan share a meal after a day of fasting.
