Akron police are investigating a fatal shooting early Saturday morning that left a woman dead at the I Promise apartments.
Officers were called to a reported shooting around 12:30 a.m. Feb. 28 at the South Maple Street housing complex that was opened in 2023 by the LeBron James Family Foundation and a number of community partners.
