Impaired driver with loaded firearm arrested while taking his daughter to school: Brunswick Police Blotter

A Cleveland man was arrested for impaired driving, having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and possession of a loaded firearm at 7:10 a.m. Feb. 25. The man was pulled over for having expired plates and was found to be under the influence of alcohol and in possession of the open container and the firearm. He reportedly told officers he had just dropped his juvenile daughter off at Brunswick High School. He was arrested and taken to the Brunswick Police Department where he submitted a .242-percent blood-alcohol level breath sample – more than three times the legal limit for intoxication. Reports noted that additional charges, including child endangerment, were pending at the time of the incident…
