Bridgeport Alley Shooting Leaves Two Men Critically Wounded

Gunfire tore through a Bridgeport alley Saturday afternoon, leaving two men in their 40s fighting for their lives after a close-range attack in the 300 block of West 29th Street, according to FOX 32 Chicago. Both men were rushed to the hospital in critical condition as detectives launched an Area One investigation.

Chicago police said the shooting unfolded around 2:42 p.m. when an unidentified attacker walked up to the pair in the alley, pulled a gun and opened fire, striking one man in the back and hitting the other multiple times across his body, according to FOX 32 Chicago. Authorities identified both victims as 40-year-old men and said they were taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.
