For the third time in his spelling career, Arnie Parat will be the regional representative heading to the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C. in May.
Parat, now an eighth-grade student and a member of the Class of 2030, represented Ascension Academy as the Randall County champion at the Regional Spelling Bee, sponsored by Education Credit Union.
