Old Baker Zachary Road to permanently close after March 2 for Comite River Diversion project

ZACHARY, La. (WAFB) – A portion of Old Baker Zachary Road will permanently close beginning on Monday, March 2, as construction continues on the Comite River Diversion Channel project, according to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District.

Officials said Old Baker Zachary Road will be closed between Spur Lane and a point about 3,000 feet south of Kirkwood Lane in Zachary.
