LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – Saturday will see warm conditions return to the area after a cool and damp start. Temperatures will climb to near 80 degrees this afternoon with sun-filled skies. These temperatures will come close to the records for the day, but will likely just miss it.
Overnight, temperatures will drop into the lower 50s leading to a chilly feel to the air. Patchy fog will develop after midnight. Sunday will see mostly sunny skies and highs near 80.
