LUBBOCK, Texas — Lubbock Animal Services (LAS) have released their metrics for the week of Friday, February 20 through Thursday, February 26.
LAS reported a total number of 1,005 phone calls, with 856 calls going to the front desk, as well as 149 calls going to LAS’ field services line. LAS said that of those calls, 31 were aggressive animal calls and 45 were animal welfare calls.
LAS released that there were 103 total adoptions for the week, including 71 dogs, 31 cats and one rabbit, leaving the current dog population at 195.
