St. Louis, Missouri – Drivers across eastern Missouri and southwest Illinois have just hours before wet snow begins falling at 6 p.m. Sunday, creating slick highways and reduced visibility ahead of the Monday morning commute.
According to the National Weather Service in St. Louis, a Winter Weather Advisory runs from 6 p.m. Sunday until 6 a.m. Monday for St. Louis, St. Charles, and surrounding counties in Missouri, along with Madison, Jersey, Greene, Macoupin, Adams and Pike counties in Illinois. Most areas will see up to 1 inch of accumulation, but localized bands could drop 2 to 4 inches, especially north and west of St. Louis near Hannibal, Bowling Green and Quincy…
