New community center brings joy, resources to Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – The Thurston Life Foundation has opened a new community center in Springfield to support local youth and families. This center offers professional counseling services aimed at addressing rising rates of depression and anxiety among young people.

“The mission statement for Thurston Life Foundation is helping youth and families navigate life,” Ron Sauer, Chairman of the Board, said. “So we really wanted to live that out through the structure that’s built. This space reflects those values, where people can come together and experience connection and growth.”

Four businesses have joined forces to support the center, including Track Town Pizza, Washburne Cafe, Northlight Counseling, and Thurston Young Life…
