The Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority is celebrating Women’s History Month by highlighting North Carolina women who made major contributions to aviation. Featured pioneers include Viola Estelle Gentry of Rockingham County, Myrtle “Kay” Cagle of Selma, Tiny Broadwick of Oxford, and Katharine Stinson of Fuquay-Varina.
