Louisville man charged with DUI after crashing through Highlands ramen restaurant

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville man was arrested and charged after police said he drove into a Highlands restaurant Saturday night while under the influence.

According to court documents, 29-year-old Alexis Calvillo is facing several charges including DUI after police said he drove into the side of Kiwami Ramen at 1700 Bardstown Road around 10:22 Saturday night, destroying the side of the building.

The car’s front end tore off as it smashed into the side of the building, making contact with four people sitting at a table, including a pregnant woman, Calvillo’s citation said…
