Man injured in Binghampton shooting while ‘hanging outside’

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis police are investigating a shooting, they say left one man injured, in the Binghampton neighborhood on Saturday evening.

Officers were called to the 200 block of Red Oak St., near Mimosa Ave. around 7 p.m., but did not locate a victim, police say. They say they spoke to a witness who heard people arguing, then heard gunfire.

The witness told police he went to look outside and saw a woman run toward him. He said he told the woman “not to come this way with problems,” according to the police report…
