Petersburg has a new restaurant. The owner was not looking for one, but when he noticed the space available, he gave it some thought.
Rodney King Jr. opened Hotrod’s Kountry Kitchen Xpress on Jan. 12. It is his first brick-and-mortar restaurant.
“After we returned from vacation, the space was still there, so I said, ‘It’s my turn,’” King shared. “We offer a friendly environment with good southern food. We like to say comfort food.”
