Possible changes coming to these Sacramento streets, community input sought

(FOX40.COM) — The City of Sacramento is moving forward with plans to improve safety on two city streets and is looking for input from the community on plans for others.

According to the city, Howe Avenue and Norwood Avenue have been identified as “high-priority routes for addressing traffic-related fatalities and serious injuries.” On Tuesday, the city council approved long-term plans for those two streets as part of its Vision Zero effort.

The city will also hold workshops early in March to hear suggestions from residents on two other projects: its Fruitridge Road and Arden-Auburn mobility plans.
