Man arrested for allegedly tampering with cars in Clairemont

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — A man was arrested Sunday evening for tampering with vehicles parked along Mount Alifan Drive in Clairemont, police said.

According to the San Diego Police Department, the suspect, a white male in his 50s to 60s, was attempting to enter vehicles in the area.

Police said that once at the scene, the suspect was seen in the driver’s seat of a car that he had allegedly broken into.

The suspect is in custody. SDPD said that it is waiting to determine if the owner of the car will press charges…
