“God, why me?” Levar Robinson remembers asking himself after reflecting on some of his hardest moments in life — alienated from his kids, juggling shift work and wondering if his struggles had any purpose.
The answers to those questions became the foundation for Fathers on a Mission, or FOAM, a nonprofit organization based in Baton Rouge that Robinson founded to help dads stay connected to their children and break cycles of instability.
