Man accused of kidnapping woman after argument in Gentilly, NOPD says

NEW ORLEANS — A man is accused of strangling a woman during an argument and then forcing her to leave New Orleans with him in her own vehicle, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

The alleged incident happened around 1:17 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28 in the 2600 block of Gentilly Boulevard.

Investigators say the man and woman, who know each other, were arguing when he allegedly strangled her. Police say he then forced her into her vehicle and drove her out of New Orleans…
