Omaha, Neb. – A light mix of snow and freezing drizzle will develop along and south of I-80 late Sunday, with icy patches expected to form on bridges and overpasses before the Monday morning commute.
According to the National Weather Service in Omaha/Valley, light snow spreads into eastern Nebraska Sunday afternoon, mainly along and south of I-80, before tapering Sunday evening. The greater concern shifts to freezing drizzle Sunday night into Monday morning, with a 20 to 40 percent chance of light ice accumulation in the advisory area.
