UPDATE 10:15 AM – City Utilities says that power has been restored to the parts of northwest Springfield that experienced outages Monday morning.
According to CU, they have identified the issue as a crossarm of a utility pole that caught fire this morning and have made repairs, but CU had to fix an additional issue after the utility pole failed to reenergize after repairs.
