CASEYVILLE, Ill. – It didn’t feel much like spring, but that didn’t stop people from lining up for ice cream at Dairy Haven’s opening day.
Even with temperatures around 40 degrees, cars and customers wrapped around the building. Many say the ice cream stand’s opening is a sure sign that spring and summer are on the way.
“It’s never too cold for ice cream,” Greg Perkins said. “You can always get warm later.”…
