Lakewood police respond after reports that suspect ‘rammed’ ICE agents with vehicle

DENVER (KDVR) — The Lakewood Police Department said its agents responded to a report of a hit-and-run involving a suspect and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents out of concern for community safety and a potential violation of local law on Saturday.

A spokesperson for LPD said police agents were called to the 200 block of South Ingalls Street just before 10 a.m. after ICE agents reported that a suspect they were trying to apprehend “rammed” two ICE vehicles with his car, hurting at least one ICE agent.
