BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man accused of firing shots that wounded two people outside El Portal West Mexican Grill and Cantina has pleaded no contest to an assault charge.
Billy Burell, 29, pleaded no contest last week to assault with a gun, according to court records. Other charges, including attempted murder, were dismissed.
