Wanted suspect arrested, dies in patrol vehicle, Charleston County deputies say

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) — The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office said a suspect wanted on an attempted murder charge died in the back of a patrol vehicle Sunday.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Ladson and Jamison Roads on a report of a wanted suspect just before 8 p.m.

The suspect was wanted for attempted murder by the North Charleston Police Department and had five active General Sessions Court bench warrants with the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office, sheriff’s spokesman Mark Ruppel said…
