LAGRANGE – Since mid-October, the Indiana Board of Animal Health confirmed Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza in numerous flocks in LaGrange, Noble and Elkhart counties, and in several locations in Indiana. For those of us in northern Indiana, where poultry production is part of our landscape and our livelihood, that news carries weight.
