FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Drivers have taken notice of a new INDOT camera mounted near Auburn.
“It’s just part of our Trafficwise network,” said Hunter Petroviak, public relations director with INDOT. “They are cameras that already exist where you can see those live traffic situations up and down the interstate.”
Petroviak said this new camera, which sits near Exit 326 of I-69 and County Road 11A, is one of nine that are being added throughout DeKalb and Steuben Counties. Every interchange and some rural stretches of I69 can expect the same upgrade. Crews are working on installation now in hopes that these cameras can be up on the INDOT Trafficwise Map sometime this year…
