Man allegedly fires officer’s gun during struggle in Lancaster County

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — An Ephrata man was arrested after allegedly getting into a struggle with a police officer where they rolled down a hill, and the man fired the officer’s gun, according to police.

The Manheim Township Police Department said Michael Fenstermaker, 38, is now behind bars and charged with several felonies following the incident Monday morning.

Manheim Township officers were called to the area of Ivy Terrace, Blossom Hill Drive and Delp Road, just before 9 a.m. after receiving reports that a barefoot man had tried to enter several homes, according to a press release…
