While no “teen takeovers” happened at Cumberland Mall over the weekend, police say at least nine arrests were made in connection with a “street takeover” in the Town Center Mall area on Saturday.
The social media promotion of the no show-Cumberland Mall event followed a chaotic scene at the Battery Atlanta on Feb. 21 where teens and young adults descended on the Battery, leading to nearly 20 arrests.
