LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A pool company owner who is accused of defrauding customers in several Louisville area counties has pleaded guilty on federal charges.
On Feb. 19, Tracy Davenport pled guilty to charges associated with defrauding over 50 customers in connection to her pool business, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

It is alleged that Davenport and employees under her direction convinced clients to sign a contract for a pool and pay a large down payment up front.
In January 2023, WAVE reported that tens of thousands of dollars were paid by people for pool installations that were never finished, with some orders over $100,000. Davenport Extreme Pools and Spas opened their doors in early 2019 but closed them in late 2022 because they ran out of money…
