Six people arrested in connection to multiple vehicle break-ins in Alabama

ALABAMA — Six people — including four adults and two juveniles — were arrested Feb. 27 in connection with a series of vehicle break-ins at apartment complexes in Opelika.

According to the Opelika Police Department, officers responded around 4:52 a.m. to a report of two men breaking into a truck at The Austin Apartments, located at 3000 Ballfields Loop. When officers arrived, they observed the suspects fleeing the area in a burgundy passenger car.

While some officers remained at the complex to speak with victims, others searched the surrounding area for the vehicle. Police later located a car matching the description at an apartment complex on Dale Avenue…
